Ohhh Marissa and Javier! I don’t even know where to start with these two. We officially met a few months before their engagement session over coffee and to get to know each other and there was one thing for sure that stuck out to me about them. They just have the sweetest and most gentle hearts. The way they would smile at each other, and talk towards each other, it was almost like they were on THEIR first date with butterflies in their stomachs and giddiness in their eyes! I just knew once their engagement session would come around, it would be a breeze and I had nothing to worry about with these two! And I was totally right!
They chose the setting of the Naperville Riverwalk for the backdrop of their engagement session and I was so excited! This is one of my favorite places for photo sessions because it has so many different looks to it, you are bound to find a part of it that everyone will like! For Marissa and Javier, we went to more of the iconic places along the riverwalk that showcased the greenery and trees, and then also went on the other side for more cleaner backgrounds with the white stairs and concrete walkways! And even when I thought everything about the session was perfect, the sun came out and gave us the most BEAUTIFUL glow!! Ughh, my heart just melts for glowy portraits. Speaking of making my heart melt, I JUST CAN’T WITH THESE TWO. I just loved spending time with these two again and finally getting them in front of my camera to capture that sweet, gentle love they have for each other! Now, I just can’t wait for the wedding day!
