The very moment that I received Mariana’s inquiry, my heart skipped a beat because I saw where her wedding venue is going to be. Mariana and Seth will be saying I Do at the very place where Brian and I got married!! The Redfield Estate! (view our wedding day blog post here!) Oh my goodness, I couldn’t wait to meet these two!! I feel like if we have the same taste in wedding venues, we were going to click very well! We met at a coffee shop a few weeks later and my gut feeling was right. I just ADORE these two! Mariana and Seth are such sweet and genuine people! I loved hearing all about how they first met at a concert, how Seth proposed on their 6 year dating anniversary with pizza, wine and cuddling up on a picnic blanket after attending a concert, and hearing all about their love for music, coffee and records! They are planning a summer wedding at one of my favorite places in the world and the details they have picked out so far is making me even more excited to be a part of this special day for them!
For their engagement session, they wanted the setting to be somewhere that was special and symbolic to their relationship. Over the years they spent so much time in Milwaukee and they couldn’t imagine anywhere else they would want to be for these once in a lifetime photos! We started the shoot at a record store to show off their love for music and records! It was definitely a new setting for me, but I had so much fun getting creative with them! We then stopped at a local park where they spent summers together at many beer festivals! As I was told, Milwaukee is known for their beer! Haha! Then the last stop of the day was one of their favorite coffee shops that are known for their amazing vanilla bean lattes! After having one myself, it was quiet amazing!! I just had the BEST time with these two and spending the day with them while we got to know each other more and talked ALL about their wedding day!! I can not wait for next July when I can photograph these two on the biggest day of their life, and at the BEST venue ever!!
