When I first met Allie and Mike, I already knew that whenever we did their engagement session that it was going to be so much fun! They just have such happy vibes and high spirits! When Sunday rolled around and it was go time, I couldn't wait to see them again! Allie had two requests for her session-- she wanted a woodsy look and during golden hour! (how perfect, right?) We watched the weather app like hawks and with roller coaster predictions from rain, to cloudy, to 6 inches of snow (!!!) , this is what we got! It was beautiful!!
I'm not kidding, my cheeks hurt from editing these images because Allie's smile is so contagious! These two made my job easy because they just could not stop giggling! I loved it!! We spent two hours at the Kankakee River State Park and it felt like 20 minutes went by and it was over! I had the BEST time with them! I always get so sad after I do engagement sessions because usually I don't get to see the couple until their wedding day! ( waaah! ) October can not come soon enough! Allie and Mike will have the most gorgeous rose gold and burgundy fall wedding this year and I can't wait!! Until then, enjoy some of my absolute favorites that we captured together!
