Okay, this might sound crazy but, as I was waiting for Alexis and Trevor to arrive at the location we agreed to meet before we began their session, I felt like I was waiting to catch up with a friend! Why does this sound crazy, you ask? Because I have never even met them yet!! Alexis officially became one of my brides back in May and she has consistently kept in touch up until this session! She would ask me questions not even photography related about her wedding and I LOVE that! I absolutely love being as involved as I can with the wedding day because well, I just LOVE everything about weddings! And I'm so happy to help any way I can! She also had sent me a photo of the outfit she picked out for their engagement session and my jaw literally dropped. (Girl, I'm sorry for the amount of times I'm going to continue telling you how much I loved your outfit! Haha!) I was SO excited to finally meet these two!
The day finally arrived and after a reschedule because our first try at the shoot, there happened to be tornado-like weather and THAT wouldn't of been cute! Haha! The sun was out and glowy, the temperature was getting cooler as the night went on and it was perfect. Everything about this shoot was just amazing! Alexis and Trevor are as sweet as I imagined them to be! I would direct them how I wanted them to stand, they would do it and add their own spice to it and it was magic! Seriously! They were PROS! They made it look so effortless! I am obsessed with SO many photos from this day! They laughed with each other and the way Trevor would look at her, ugh made my heart so happy! Alexis, I will definitely take you up on that lunch date soon because there's no way I can wait all the way until April to hang out with you again! Haha!
