The first day I met Lisa was back in December when she officially became one of my brides. We talked over drinks and appetizers, got to know each other and talked all about her vision for her wedding day! Before I knew it, a few HOURS went by and I felt like I was having dinner with an old friend! We instantly CLICKED and that made me so happy!! I knew working with her was going to be such a blast! Then their engagement session rolled around and I finally met Aaron! Not even 15 minutes went by and I could just tell that these two were meant for each other! They were the CUTEST!! Aaron was so kind and sincere, while Lisa brought out the silliness in them! I just adored these two and couldn’t WAIT for their wedding day!
The sun was shining, the temps were in the low 70’s and it was a PERFECT day for a fall wedding! The two homes where Lisa and Aaron were getting ready at the morning of both had similar vibes- everyone was SO happy! I could just tell how much their friends were so happy for these two and couldn’t wait to start all the festivities! Choosing all of my favorites to go into this blog post was VERY difficult because everything about this day was so perfect! I had such a blast with their family, friends and wedding party as we all celebrated Lisa and Aaron become Mr. and Mrs. Tanis! Aaron’s ring was one of the most unique groom rings I’ve ever seen!!
Time for the FIRST LOOK!!! I always get so emotional while I photograph this moment for my couples! The nerves and butterflies are building, I can see in both of their faces they are so excited for the big reveal, and see Aaron’s face light up when he saw Lisa literally had me in tears! I absolutely love when couples do a first look! This moment you will never get back, and they decided to share this alone, with no one else around!
