Melissa and Andres wanted their engagement session to showcase the beautiful city of Chicago, where these two live and love, and that is exactly what we did! During their whole session I could just feel how excited they were to finally be engaged and soon to be married! The way Andres would look at Melissa, and her smiles she would give right back at him! Ahhh! These two were such sweet and friendly people!
We hit a few key locations during their session, one being Olive Park right next to Navy Pier. I absolutely love shooting at this location because it has such a perfect view of the city skyline, and the walkway that's lined with trees is so pretty! Then we walked over to Michigan Avenue where we found probably my new favorite hidden spot. The Wrigley Building has such amazing detail and the lighting was just perfect! A photographers dream! We continued down Michigan Avenue and ended up right next to the Chicago River to grab a couple of shots. Also, Spring has finally sprung for us to get Melissa's detailed ring shot (another favorite!).
Melissa and Andres, thank you SO much for giving me the opportunity to capture this special time for you two in this amazing city! I CAN. NOT. WAIT. for your wedding day later on this year! We will all be on cloud nine that day, or should I say, cloud ninety five! ;)
