Alyssa and Michael's wedding day was one I looked forward to for so long! I've known these two for years and they are the sweetest and most genuine people ever! When they finally got engaged, I literally was the happiest person! They started dating the day right after Brian and I became official -- SEVEN years ago! They also got engaged a month before us! We became "engaged buddies" during the planning process and helped each other stay calm and focused and when the big day was here, as I was getting ready to head out the door, I couldn't help but get teary eyed! Her wedding day finally arrived!
Everything about their wedding was so THEM! They chose purple and blue for their color scheme because purple is Michael's favorite color and blue is Alyssa's! Just wait until you see the gorgeous bridesmaid dresses and matching groomsmen! Her florals were all handmade by her Auntie Gemma and I could not get over how beautiful they were! The simple white with scattered greens were so simple and elegant! They were perfect! They were gathered with family and friends at The Lady Of The Woods for their intimate wedding ceremony and guys, tears were shed- big time! To make their grand exit as husband and wife, everyone got together outside of the church and blew bubbles as they came out! One of my favorite exits to date! Their reception was held at Tuscany Falls in Mokena, IL and it was the absolute perfect place for them!
Alyssa & Michael, I am so beyond thankful to have known you both during this amazing time in your lives and I'm honored to have been able to capture it all for you! I hope you enjoy my favorites from your big day and I wish you nothing but happiness, joy and love for the rest of your lives! CONGRATS ON FINALLY TYING THE KNOT! Love you both! xo
Sister love! So sweet!
Popping the bubbly after getting ready and then adding Sugarfina's "Champagne Bubbles"? YES PLEASE!
The moment Michael saw his beautiful Bride walking down the aisle! I seriously had to hold back the tears!
They did it! THEY'RE MARRIED!! Such an amazing exit!
Obsessed with these colors together!
Maid of Honor Katrina and sister Kristy!
This moment literally had me crying! Alyssa's sister Kristy sang the song during her Father/Daughter dance! It was beautiful!
