The first day I met Lisa during her client meeting back in December, we decided to meet for drinks and make her officially a #MeganGogginsBride! Usually these meetings last around an hour but, hers was different. I'm pretty sure we spend close to THREE hours talking about wedding things and even non wedding related things! We instantly CLICKED! I had felt like I was catching up with a close friend and this was the very first time we had met!! This is when I knew we were a perfect match and I already was SO excited for her engagement session!
This past Saturday during their session was when I finally was able to meet Aaron! When I saw them getting out of their car and walking up to me, they both were just beaming! These two are SO adorable together! The way he would look at her and how playful they were with each other, I just couldn't help but feel so happy for them! We started the session at Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve in Chesterton, IN! (I SO love that name! Haha!) Since I mostly shoot around the Chicagoland area, this was a new place to me! It was so pretty! We spent a good chunk of time at this location and right as we were getting ready to head to the next location, the sun popped out of the clouds and gave us the best GLOW!! They probably thought I was crazy because of how excited I was to see that sun! Haha! We grabbed some glowy light photos and headed to the Indiana Dunes!! Unfortunately once we got to the beach, a huge blanket of clouds covered the sky and the sun was done for the day, but! We made it work and I am SO OBSESSED with the images we got! (some of my new all time favorites!) I hope you enjoy some highlights from Lisa & Aaron's engagement session!
The ONLY patch of flowers in this whole place, and I knew I had to make it work! These were too pretty not to get a ring shot with them! Also, how gorgeous is Lisa's ring!!
