Jillian & Zach | Joyful Olivet Nazarene University and Countryside Summer Engagement Session

Jillian and I have been talking about her engagement session since the day her and Zach booked me for their wedding and I couldn't even tell you how many times she told me she was nervous. She said they have never taken professional photos before and she was so sure it was going to be awkward! (ohhh the pressure! haha!) I assured her that we were going to have a blast and not to worry at all! The day finally arrived and there was a chance for rain all day but we decided to just GO FOR IT! I met them at the Olivet Nazarene University where we would start the session and after giving hugs and saying hello, I could somewhat tell they were a little nervous. I told them that they don't even have to focus on anything BUT being relaxed and having fun. I would direct them and tell them what to do the entire session and to just trust me! After taking the very first couple of photos, I couldn't help but smile. These two were so into the session, you couldn't even tell they were AT ALL nervous! They looked like absolute pros! Every pose I would put them in, they would laugh and smile at each other as if they were on a date and no one else in the world was around! I was so happy and so proud of them! At the end of the session, ZACH even said that he is so excited for the pictures on their wedding day!! Ahh! I had SUCH a blast with these two!! Ohhhh I was SO happy! The clouds rolled away and the sun peeked out to give us some glowy portrait time! These are some of my absolute FAVORITES!

The second location that Jillian wanted to go to was her parents property because it had a very country-ish feel! There was corn for miles on every side of their land and I loved it! It was so peaceful and so beautiful! (country girl at heart over here! haha!)
