Every time I sit down to write a blog post for a couple’s beautiful wedding day, it’s always so hard for me to find the right words to explain how much fun I had, and how incredible the day was, but for Alexa and Eddie’s day-- it might be the most difficult yet. I have known Eddie for years and we go way back! Back to some of my most favorite memories in my “teen” years. *oh gosh, way back!* When I got an email from him last year saying that he wanted ME to be his wedding photographer, I was floored. And honored! The days were getting closer and closer to their big day and I was SO excited to witness (and photograph!) this special day for him!
The day I met Alexa was when we sat down and officially booked their wedding day. I could INSTANTLY see that Eddie has found his person! The way they would joke around with each other, laugh, and how he would look at her, it was SO sweet! She is the perfect fit for him and I was so excited for them! She had just enough spunk and sass, and is such a sweetheart!
Their wedding day took place at Centennial Park in Munster, Indiana and we had quite an overcast day! The risk of storms were high ALL week long but, through out the whole day, we didn’t get hit with ONE drop of rain! It was amazing! Everything went right on schedule and went so smooth! HOORAY! I can’t even explain how much fun I had during their wedding day. All of their friends and family are such a blast! (wait until you see what the groomsmen made Eddie do after our portraits were finished!) I am so excited to share some of my all time favorites from their wedding day and give you a peak! ENJOY!! :)
Their ceremony took place at 2pm in the afternoon that looked out into the water! How pretty is that!! We had overcast skies but it didn’t rain one drop on us! Thank goodness!
Alexa had some of her family and friends create this GORGEOUS arch and I was so in love with it! It definitely made the background of their ceremony photos extra dreamy!
^^ THIS is one of my all time favorite photos and moments during their ceremony! This is right after the flower girl and ring bearer came down the aisle (looking SO cute by the way!) and everyone was so focused on looking at the little ones, but not Eddie! He saw his bride coming and he couldn’t get that smile off his face! He didn’t care about ANYTHING else that was going on around him but looking at Alexa walk down the aisle! It was SO SWEET!!
When Eddie read his vows to Alexa, it might of been the most emotional part of the day. There was not a dry eye around. Even their officiant Mario was bawling!! It was the cutest thing! I might of been wiping my own tears in between photos myself! GOSH I just love weddings!!
ANNNNNND they’re MARRIED! Such a special ceremony! We then took advantage of the extra time we had and jumped right into their bride and groom portraits! I am SO in love with these spots and what we captured!

Annnd the guys would not let us leave without making Eddie shotgun a beer before his reception! I had such a blast with this group!
Alexa and Eddie, thank you both SO SO much for having me be your wedding photographer! It meant so much to me! Eddie, I’ve known you for years and watching you become a husband to Alexa was such a special memory that I will cherish forever! I can just tell how happy she makes you feel and that makes ME so happy! You two are seriously each others “people” , no doubt! I wish you nothing but absolute happiness and joy through out your lives together and I hope you make tons of memories that you will love just as much as your wedding day! CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!!
