Ohhhh these two! I am trying to put into words just how much I loved Lauren and Boston’s engagement session. They came all the way from beautiful Colorado and are getting married in Chicago in the spring of 2021 and I had some big shoes to fill when it came to the location we would go to! They live in the middle of MOUNTAINS and views that look like it’s straight out of a post card or magazine! How am I supposed to “wow” them in Illinois? (haha!) I came across this hidden gem just 45 minutes out of the city and it was my first time shooting here. You would have NEVER guessed this location was right outside of Chicago! (at least, I wouldn’t be able to guess haha!) I am OB.SESSED with tall, skinny pine trees! There is just something so magical about them that make you seem so small in this big world! It was quite the hike to find the exact location with the trees but when I did, I about fell over. I was ready to pitch a tent and call this place my home forever! It' is so darn DREAMY!!! And I think the by the end of the session, these two approved! (hopefully! haha)!
Lauren was a sweet bridesmaid in a wedding that I photographed back in 2018 and from what I remember, she had some MOVES on the dance floor! Haha! These two have been such a dream to work with during their engagement and planning process and I am SO looking forward to capturing their adorable love on their wedding day in May at a new to me venue!! I know I’m not supposed to pick favorites buuuut, this will forever go down as a top fav engagement session for me! Always and foreverrrrr!
