One of my favorite detail elements on a wedding day are the gorgeous bouquets and floral accents sprinkled through out the decor! I just love seeing all of my bride’s style shine through when it comes to the florals whether that is in the centerpieces at the reception, the hair pieces they wear, the ceremony arch decor, the boutonniere for her groom, her own bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, etc! I could go on and on here! There are so many different ways to play around with florals and the weddings I’ve had the honor to photograph in 2019 were just dripping in the most beautiful flowers and greenery pieces! I am so excited to showcase a few of the incredible florists I got to work with last year that truly brought my bride’s dreams come to life!
White peonies, white ranunculus, pops of pink and different textures in the greenery used, Floral Events Chicago did an amazing job with this spring wedding!
Becca’s color palette of cornflower blue, purple, and lavender was such a fun and punchy combo, An English Garden did amazing with bringing those colors into her bouquets!
Sugarfield Flowers DEFINITELY took me by surprise with this stunning wedding. Not only were the florals timeless with an all white color palette with greenery, what made my jaw drop when I first saw them in the elevator heading up to Emma’s bridal suite was seeing TULIPS (!!!) and peonies, in DECEMBER! Paired with silver dollar eucalyptus, white anemones, AND white ranunculus, these are definitely some of my favorite bouquets!! Kris is just magical at what she does!
Emma loves olive branches and add just a sprig on to each plate at the reception was such a pretty touch!
Now let’s talk about that HOOP! Wowza was this a gorgeous focal point for their ceremony! (and their portraits!)
JM’s Flowers with Jazz created these fun summer florals for Jill and I still can’t get over these! Her favorite flower is the sunflower and adding the baby’s breath and white roses definitely makes these very whimsical and dreamy!
Ohhh I love a good pop of color in bouquets, especially these lavender and purple florals in Lindsey’s bouquets! Enchanted Events is the magic behind these beautiful florals! Also, how fun is Dan’s calla lily boutonniere! So unique!
Ohhhhkay, let’s talk about unique! Bonnie Bee Flowers knocked it out of the park with Mallory and Nick’s wedding! The dried elements, the metallics, and the warm tones made this such a dreamy and boho style bouquet and I am SO obsessed with it! Even the boutonnieres were SO cool and very on theme with their whole wedding day! Bonnie is seriously amazing and SUCH a sweetheart!
There is something so classic and timeless about an all white and greenery bouquet and Anemone Chicago did amazing on Mariana’s summer wedding day florals!
I love that Mariana and Seth had a sweetheart table and just by adding the garland of greenery definitely adds an elegant touch! When in doubt, add greenery to anything and everything, if you ask me!!
I also LOVE the dreamy details they added to their ceremony gazebo, too!
Holy moly! Again with the pop of color in Megan’s bouquet! SO gorgeous! Also, never underestimate the floral department in Strack & Van Til! That is where these florals are from and they definitely had everyones jaws on the floor (especially mine!)! They were perfect for this fall wedding day!
Ohhhkay, I might be biased, but Aberdeen’s Wedding Florals is a total DREAM and everything they do is just stunning! Not only did they did amazing designs for Monica’s wedding, they were also MY wedding florist and till this day I am still in love with my bouquet! They are amazing!
They also set aside a whole bundle of greenery and blooms for me to style with Monica’s bridal details and I loved them even more when I saw the vase labeled “for photographer” ! They are just the best!! Brides! If you want your photographer to love you (even more then they already do!) ask your florist to give you extras from your bouquets to style with your bridal detail photos! Fresh florals definitely elevates these types of photos, don’t you agree?
Again, adding some greenery and blooms to a welcome sign to your ceremony makes it so much dreamier and editorial looking!
Because of Fab Flora Chicago and their INCREDIBLE work with Stephanie and Dave’s wedding, I will now think of them every time I see a succulent! How fun is Dave’s boutonniere! I am so in love the Steph’s bouquets and I love that they added hanging silk ribbon to the stems!
Instead of wearing a veil, Stephanie wanted to have a floral hair piece and it looked PERFECT on her!
Dahlia’s and succulents, SO pretty and fun for this summer wedding!
This wedding had greenery, flowers, and succulents EVERYWHERE you looked! It was such a gorgeous day and Fab Flora Chicago did amazing bringing it all together so beautifully!
