It feels like it was just yesterday (but really, it was October!) when I finally met Bridget and Jim over drinks in Tinley Park to talk all about their wedding day visions, plans and dreams! The moment I met them, I instantly felt this love they had for each other. Every time I would ask a question, they would look at each other and see how the other person felt or what they were thinking. They seem to always put the other person first and I just thought it was the sweetest thing! Fast forward to March and I was able to join these two and their friends & family at their wedding shower in downtown Frankfort! I got to meet everyone which was really awesome because then on their wedding day, it felt like I was seeing old friends again! We even snuck away during the party to get some photos of just the two of them out on the town! You can see their blog post with the images HERE! Their family and friends were SO welcoming to me and they were just the nicest people! I knew their wedding day was going to be filled with so much love and happiness and boy was I so right on that one!
May 26th arrived and I just couldn't help but be SO excited that morning as I was getting my bags packed and ready to hit the road. I sometimes feel like I'm waking up on MY wedding morning, haha! I could just imagine how Bridget was feeling! EEeeekk! It was a HOT day. It got up to 90 degrees and the sun was beating all day! But when there is full sun during the day, that means beautiful golden hour at night! You guys, Bridget and Jim had SUCH gorgeous husband and wife photos during the most perfect glowy light I've ever seen! Just wait until you see these! They are definitely some of my favorite images EVER! Their day was filled with so much fun, love and a whole lot of CONFETTI! Omg I was so happy! When I say I'm a detail loving person, I mean it! Every last detail is so important on wedding days, even the stamps that are used on invitations! I LOVED the ones Bridget used! They matched so perfectly and they're so pretty!
Again, details are everything to me! Look how beautiful these tiny wildflowers looked in her hair! Ahhh! Bridget you looked absolutely stunning, from head to toe!
Her gorgeous lace dress was the perfect surface to photograph her details on!
OMGsh! Isn't Aubree the cutest flower girl you ever did see?! She loves her puppy and wanted to take SO many pictures with him! She was so sweet! And any photo opp that involves a pup, count me in!!
CEREMONY TIME! Time to get these two MARRIED!
Parmesans Station was such a gorgeous place for a wedding! There was so much natural light coming in and I LOVED it!
I want to mention how impressed and amazed I am with Jim! She HANDMADE so many parts of their wedding decor which made it that much more special for the two of them! The seating chart was AMAZING! He also made their card box, the easel that their welcome sign is on and their table numbers which you'll see later on! Amazing job Jim! Everything turned out PERFECT!!
I literally was holding back so many tears at this moment! The grand moment that they have been waiting for their whole lives and Jim tearing up when he saw how beautiful Bridget was walking down the aisle made me SO emotional!
HORRAY FOR THE NEW MR. & MRS. HARRIS! I'm so happy for you two!! Now is time for their husband and wife portraits! I was literally like a kid in a candy store! Everything was perfect! They were finally married, we had the BEST glow, and we couldn't have timed it better!
How amazing is this shot!!! It was raining confetti on these two and I loved every second of it! Congratulations Bridget & Jim! Now, it's party time!!

Bridget and Jim, Mr. & Mrs. Harris, thank you both so much for giving me this honor of being your wedding photographer!
