When their passion for helping people drove them to their job of working as a firefighter and paramedics, little did they know it would also bring them together with the very person they were going to marry. They spent a lot of time together at work and became very close friends the first few years, but then things got heated up (no pun intended haha) and got more serious! Steve proposed to Alicia on a private island a few years later in Honduras while on a cruise together and they are now planning their summer wedding for 2020!
I had the privilege of meeting Alicia over coffee shortly after they became an official #MeganGogginsCouple and within the first few minutes, I instantly connected with her!! She is such a sweetheart and has such a genuine heart! Hearing all about her and Steve had me SO excited for their engagement session and to see them interact with each other! They had big plans for where they wanted to start the session! Where on earth could we possibly begin their photos other than at the fire station, which was a first for me! We were able to play around and get creative for a little while and even brought out their sweet pup Janey! We then ventured our way to the city where these two spend a lot of time together at Navy Pier! We went to some of my favorite places in the city and got some incredible views and glowy light! I’m SO in love with everything we captured together! I absolutely can not WAIT for these two to finally tie the knot next summer but until then, I’ll just be staring at these images and dreaming of how perfect their wedding day is going to be!
