Looking back at Monica and Mike’s wedding day, there are a lot of things that stick out in my mind. A LOT! But the one thing that sticks out the most, the way that Mike would look at his gorgeous bride. The way he would hold her hand, hug her, make sure she was always happy that day, and his VOWS! There was not a dry eye in the room. This man sure does love his lady, and it was so evident that day!
This was a very special wedding for me because this was not the first time I photographed the Hoffman family! Last year I photographed Mike’s sisters wedding (shoutout to Meagan and Chris!! Love you guys!) and being able to see them all again was such a treat! It is so obvious where Mike gets his thoughtful and genuine traits from coming from such a wonderful family that he has!
I don’t think I could ever paint a picture of words to describe just how joyful and absolutely perfect Monica and Mike’s wedding day was. While I was in the girls getting ready suite photographing all of Monica’s gorgeous bridal details, I couldn’t help but listen in on the girls conversations and notice just how genuinely excited all of her best friends were for her wedding day to finally be here. It was so touching and made my heart melt! Her girls love her so much!! All of their friends do! During the entire day, the whole wedding party was just so much fun to be around and made sure nothing stood in Monica and Mike’s way! They were also one of the most welcoming groups I’ve had the privilege of photographing! They made ME feel like part of the group and I just love them for that! I am SO excited for you to see a highlight post of all of my favorite moments, images and memories that these two shared on this day! As as for you two, Monica and Mike, I can not thank you both enough for absolutely everything! It has been SUCH a wonderful journey being able to be a part of your engagement and your wedding day! You two are straight up GEMS and I’m so thankful that our paths have crossed! I will forever treasure this day and am so grateful that you both were a part of MY story! I just adore you two!! I hope you enjoy your wedding day blog post! :)
Bridesmaid first look time! This has easily became one of my favorite moments of a wedding day! The anticipation of seeing their best friend all dolled up in her wedding dress, on her big day, you don’t see something that special everyday. The squeals of Monica’s friends were so sweet! I don’t blame them, she was STUNN.ING!
Monica and Mike participated in a Bride and Groom first look together before their ceremony and THIS was quite the entrance for it! How gracious does she look coming down those stairs before her groom! We were able to spend SO much time getting pre ceremony portraits of the two of them together, get all of their wedding party photos done AND (!!!) ALLLL of their family formals BEFORE the ceremony! That was one thing these two stressed to me that they definitely wanted to accomplish on their wedding day so they could enjoy their cocktail hour with their friends and family!
Monica you are GORGEOUSSSS girly!!
^^ This was such a sweet moment that I caught a quick glimpse of. Mike was straightening out the aisle runner for his bride before she came walking down to him. UGH my heart!!
Monica and Mike, you both are the cutest!!! Thank you SO much for having me be a part of your joyful and beautiful wedding day!!! I just love you to pieces!
