I knew from the very start that Jamie and I would click very well. In her initial contact form when she first reached out to me, she mentioned that she dreams of her wedding day being filled with ALL things FALL! Pumpkins, sunflowers, mums, hay bales, ALL the things! And THAT made my heart skip a beat! I LOVE fall weddings so much, I even got married in the fall! So when these two decided to book me and we became official, I couldn’t WAIT to get to know them better and start the planning process! To go along with their autumn vision for their wedding, she insisted that their engagement session happens in the middle of a pumpkin patch! WHAT! All my dreams came true! We had a blast and it will forever be one of my favorite fall engagement sessions to date! You can see it all HERE and see for yourself just how much fun we had!
Fast forward a few months out from the big day, Jamie was having some doubts on their ceremony location. She wanted an epic place where her and Corey will say their I Do’s and she just didn’t feel that she will get that with the first place they booked. They ended up changing everything and booking Farmington Lake in Mokena, IL instead and I was cheering on that decision the whole time! I LOOOOVE Farmington Lake! I have been here a couple times myself and it is such a gorgeous and fairytale like place to get married!!
Jamie and Corey, it was been SUCH a blast getting to know you two during your engagement and partying it UP with you on your wedding day! I am honored to have been able to join you through it all!! I hope you love your highlight blog post!! :)
