Megan and Tom had the most perfect fall wedding day at Centennial Park in Munster, Indiana with everything you could imagine as far as the design elements go. I LOVE the burgundy and navy color palette they chose, the s’mores bar at the reception, the raw wood reception details, tree slice cupcake holders, lanterns on the guests tables, it was all SO Pinterest perfect! Minus one element that totally threw off the “fall vibe” , it was close to 90 DEGREES!! In the middle of SEPTEMBER!! It was very crazy to see but everyone totally embraced it and Megan & Tom didn’t let it faze them one bit! Hey, we’d take that with ALL the sunshine we got over having rain and freezing temps, am I right?! Haha!
These two have such sweet and genuine hearts and it was an absolute joy to work with them over the course of the year during their engagement and the wedding planning! They also have literally the cutest little guy Liam that totally stole the show this day with his killer dance moves and just him being his silly self! I had such a blast meeting your friends and family, you two, and I’m so grateful to have witnesses and captured your special day! It was filled with so much laughter, a handful of tears, and a lot of memories made, for myself included! I hope you enjoy your highlight blog post from your wedding day! :)
Just seconds after Megan saw her self finally zipped up in her dress in the mirror, she burst into tears! It was the SWEETEST moment for her! It was finally sinking in that her wedding day was HERE and she was about to marry her best friend in a few short hours! Brides, never hold back your emotions because you’re afraid of looking silly.
