Jillian & Zach | Blush and Navy Spring Wedding in Bourbonnais, IL

Helllllloooo to the first wedding of 2019! I couldn’t imagine kicking off wedding season with anyone else but Jillian and Zach! From the very beginning of sitting down during their consultation, I knew these two were somethin’ special. The way she would light up talking about the plans they had for the big day, and the way she could NOT stop smiling every time she would look at Zach, UGH! These two, you guys, are the cutest! Over the years time during their planning process, Jillian would send me pictures of when she got her wedding dress, her shoes, the decoration ideas she finalized, EVERYTHING! She was SO excited for her wedding day and that made me so happy to see how excited she was! When I finally walked into their day and saw everything come together after all the hard work they have spent to make this day happen, it was MAGIC, people. Everything was perfect!

If I had to pick two words to describe Jillian and Zach’s wedding day last weekend, I honestly would choose joyful and genuine. The amount of love that these two show for each other just made my heart melt! And seeing all of their friends and family just so genuinely HAPPY for them was such a warming feeling to see! They are loved by SO many! I also don’t think they could of had a more perfect spring day for their wedding! The sun was shining the entire day and I was SO thankful! We had multiple portrait locations that were just a few miles from their venue and got to hang out with their wedding party, some of their family members and just truly have FUN and enjoy the day!

Jillian and Zach, I am HONORED that I was giving the chance to witness, be a part of, and capture your wedding day! It was absolutely beautiful and I had a BLAST! Your family and friends are so sweet and I felt so welcomed into your day! I hope your still on cloud 9 and never get off that cloud during your marriage! You two will always have a special place in my heart and I wish you ALL the happiness and laughter in your lives together!

That white tulle wrapped around Jillian’s bouquet was actually a piece of her moms veil from HER wedding day! How special is that!!!

First look time!! Zach told me numerous times this day how nervous he was. He let his emotions out before he even saw his beautiful bride and seeing that just made my heart melt!! He loves Jillian so much and it was definitely showing through at this moment how excited he was to see her, for the first time on their wedding day! Their friends and family were watching from below so they could have this moment together alone and I teared up myself. I just LOVE first looks! They got to take a few minutes to just be ALONE and talk to each other before everything started to get crazy during the day! And we also had the change to get ALL of their wedding party photos done, half of their family formals were finished here AND they got two sets of portraits before the ceremony and after! There are SO many benefits to doing a first look!

This looks like it was taken on an estate in Charleston which makes this an ALL TIME favorite image ever! I love how happy they look!
