I love when I get to shoot and explore at new places and St. James Farm Forest Preserve I think has become one of my new favorite locations! Anything with rolling fields, white fences and pretty tree lines will always have my heart! And just wait until you see the very end the amount of GLOW we had at sunset! It was just a beautiful day and I’m so happy spring is finally here!
One of the positive things about social media is making us feel connected to people we have never met. When I first hugged Mallory in the parking lot and shook Nick’s hand, I felt like I already knew them and I was about to hang out with some old friends! THENNN they brought out a little surprise and my heart just melted! (you’ll see! and your heart will melt too! haha!) These two are planning a November wedding this year at the very unique and industrial Warehouse 109 and just hearing all about their color palette, dress and suits, (Nick miiiiight even be wearing a green suit! WHAT! love!) and all about the venue makes so ME excited for their big day!
During our time together, I just couldn’t help noticing how these two could literally read my mind. Half the time I didn’t even have to put them in a pose because they already transitioned into one on their own! They definitely made my job easy and I know their wedding day is going to be such a breeze, and so much fun!
I can’t wait to meet all of your family and friends, you two! Until then, I don’t think I’ll ever stop sharing images from this session because I LOVE so many of these!! You two are literally the sweetest and I am so, so honored to be joining you in this journey to “I DO”!! I hope you love these highlights from your session as much as I do! :)
I always tell my couples that if there is anything that is symbolic or meaningful to their relationship, we can definitely incorporate it into their session! Mallory and Nick decided to play with my heart strings and bring their 4 month old ADORABLE son! I just could not get enough of him and how stinkin’ cute is his little outfit! Seeing these two interact with him with their “mommy and daddy voices” just melted my heart! They are going to be such amazing parents to this little guy!
I was IN. LOVE. with Mallory’s gorgeous ring and could of photographed it all day!
One of my all time FAVS! ^^
