Lauren & Preston | Rainy Spring Engagement Session at the Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods

When two people are brought together by similar interests and hobbies, you can’t help but become really good friends with them, and in this case, end up marrying them!! That is exactly what happened with Lauren and Preston! They both loved theater and worked for a theater company in Utah and had get togethers with all of their coworkers when one night of “Deep Fried Game Night” is when these two initially met and where it all began!

When I got an email from Lauren back in January wanting to know more details about me possibly being her wedding photographer, I was SO excited! I actually know Lauren from a few years back when we worked at Starbucks together! It’s always so much fun and such an honor to know someone for a while and then get the chance to work with them when they start planning their wedding day!

I was very excited to finally meet Preston after months of emails with Lauren telling me about him and from their questionnaire that I sent out, I somewhat got a mental picture of who he was. Gentle and kind soul, very friendly and warm hearted and when the day of their engagement session arrived, I was totally 100% right! These two could not be more similar and perfect for each other! They had a goofy, silly side but for the most part, just SUCH caring and kind people! I loved watching these two interact with each other and the amount of pure joy that these two had, makes me SO happy and excited for their wedding day next year!

Lauren and Preston, I’m so happy that you both were able to fly in from Georgia and hang out with me for an afternoon!! I had so much fun finally getting to see you again and talk about the big day!
