Okay, for anyone who asks if dogs are allowed at engagement sessions, YAS YAS YAAAASS! Being a fellow pup mom myself (and goodness gracious I love my Zo Zo with all my heart!) , I just love when couples want to incorporate their fur babies in these photos because they are such a big part of your family! Engagement sessions are such a special thing to experience and celebrate because you only get to do these once, so if you are thinking of having your dog join in, my answer is- DO IT! You will be so happy you did!
I couldn’t wait to meet little Auggie, and of course Kristen and Chris too!! They requested a location that showcased the iconic Chicago skyline and also wanted a gardeny/park feel to it as well! Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk was the PERFECT place! I loved getting to know these two and hear all about their summer 2020 wedding that’s coming up! (YAY!!) Something that stuck out to me about them (that I absolutely loved!) was every time I would put these two in a pose, whether that was walking together or wrapped up in each other, they bursted out in a giggle or full on laugh! They were having so much fun with their session and it definitely created some beautiful candid images!! I can’t wait to see them giggling their way through bride and groom portraits on their wedding day! Ohhhh I can just see it now, and I’m so excited!!
