Sweet baby Lincoln, welcome to this big world! It was such a fun afternoon hanging out with Staci and Mark again for their lifestyle newborn session and finally meeting their baby boy! I photographed their maternity session a few weeks before this when they didn’t know the gender yet! Staci had an incredible blue dress on that hugged her in all the right places and was definitely giving me “baby boy” vibes, so it was so exciting to see that when she delivered, it was LINCOLN that arrived!!
When I was welcomed into their home and they showed me where the nursery was so I could get started, my mouth probably dropped open! (it did in my head at least!) It was such a dreamy, safari themed space and had such a light and airy feel to it! I was obsessed with the wood paneling work that was on the wall with the crib and was so impressed when Mark said he did it himself! It looked soooo good and I loved the paint color of the room too! If you look closely at some of the pulled back shots, you can see that he installed blue lighting along the crown molding at the top which is totally next level!! It was SO cool! I loved all of the animal/safari details that were sprinkled around Lincoln’s nursery, especially the stuffed heads that were mounted above the crib! It all just looked straight out of a Pottery Barn magazine!
