Having the Kennedy family in front of my camera for sweet Millie’s lifestyle newborn session reminded me why I love in-home sessions SO MUCH! Being in the comfort of your own home will put all of your “in front of the camera nerves” at ease for sure! We cuddled up in their master bedroom for the first portion of the session and I just love this family so much! Big brother Cade was a ball of energy and was glued to his daddy the whole time! (so sweet!) We had country music playing in the background and it just felt like a cozy party!

Sweet Millie Ann (middle name came from both of her grandmother’s!) was born a few weeks early, just like her brother was, and here is a tiny peek at how her birth story went! :

Just like her brother Millie decided to come early! I was starting progress the week prior and was taking it easy at home. That morning I saw my doctor for my weekly appointment and was 4cm and 90%. She sent me home and by two o’clock we headed to the hospital. Adam was amazing and we had our doula Bianca that came shortly after we got there. She helped so much and brought me some fun socks to wear as well. They broke my water and soon after she was born- The doctor that was on call for my doctor walked in two minutes after she was born!

After photographing them in the master bedroom, we moved over to Millie’s adorable nursery! Pink is the main focus in this room with a few simple but sweet decor pieces, including her hanging bow shelf! You can never have too many bows when having a baby girl!

This bear was actually made from Jenna’s grandfather’s shirt that is no longer with us anymore. Big brother Cade also has photos when he was a newborn with this bear so of course he had to be included in Millie’s session! So sweet!
