It is such an incredible feeling having familiar faces in front of my camera as their family grows! I photographed Felecia and Tony’s very first maternity session back in October of 2018 when they were expecting their first baby and it was a DREAM! She had a florist create a flower crown for her, she had the most stunning emerald green dress and it was right at sunset so you better believe it was full of glowy magic! (check out that session HERE ) Felecia reached out to me last year and told me the happy news that baby #2 was on the way and that they wanted another maternity session documented! I was OVER THE MOON excited! Especially because I was finally going to meet little Auggie that was in his momma’s belly the last time I saw them!
Once again, they all arrived in amazing outfits! Felecia sent me a photo of her velvet dress and I was so excited to photograph her in it! She has such great taste in maternity dresses! She was just glowing! Also, little Auggie in his olive green pants and navy vest- I was OBSESSED! Another thing that made an appearance, Tony’s fedora hat! He totally rocked it and definitely gave BOTH of their sessions more of an editorial look! The colors of their outfits looked amazing in the location that we picked out together! They wanted this shoot to take place at the Kankakee River State Park because this is where they frequently visit and have little family adventures! Love that!! (gimme alllll the forest sessions!)
I’m SO excited to share more from Felecia and Tony’s 2nd maternity session including their newest addition to their family! I had an absolute blast with them and these are some of my all time favorite images!! The location, the colors, the JOY! Ugh, I love it all! I can’t wait to see these FOUR later this fall to capture their family session once baby #2 arrives! :)
