Welcome to this big world, cutie pie Daxton! I had the honor of photographing the Willis family for their lifestyle newborn session and I just adore them! Big sister Harper was SO full of life and energy and giggles and I was eating it up! This was actually not the first time for them being in front of my camera! It felt like just yesterday that we were out in the forest at Waterfall Glen taking their family photos and we captured their pregnancy announcement photo! And now he is HERE!

I absolutely loved the whole overall look of this shoot! Kaitlan had a newborn swaddle and gown that she wanted to use that had a lot of greens, grays and woodsy animals on them so we pulled colors from those to incorporate in the rest of the families outfits! She pulled the green out for her dress (which I LOVED btw! One of my favs!), Tyler went with gray, and for a fun pop of color— Harper wore a burnt orange dress that added a fun punch to their palette!

One of my favorite moments was a very candid and unplanned one towards the end! Harper decided to pull some books out from the bookshelf and she started to read. It then turned in to everyone cuddled up on the floor in front of the crib reading together and it was SO sweet! I loved so much spending the afternoon with this fam again and capture their newest member of the family! Enjoy some of my favorites!!
