There’s just nothing like spending a summer evening with your family roasting marshmallows and playing on the farm. As the sun was setting, the Biesterfeld family showed me around their land (that was so peaceful and beautiful!) and I got to photograph them all being together at their favorite place and sharing sweet little moments in between! It was a day filled with warmth, nostalgia and abundance of joy and I loved every second of it!
Towards the end of the session, they gathered around their fire pit area, brought out the chocolate and marshmallows and roasted s’mores together (and even let me join in on the fun!). It was the perfect way to end the day! I loved this session for so many reasons! Having it at their family farm adds an extra meaningful touch that wouldn’t be the same if we went to a local pretty garden or park. And because this was more of a relaxed, documentary style session- the family was able to be a little more relaxed, let loose and have fun. I am a huge lover of the “in between moments” and this session had so much sweet goodness which makes this one of my new favorites!
