Meagan and Chris have been with me since what feels like a lifetime ago (back in 2018!) when I photographed their engagement session in downtown Woodstock, IL and had the most gorgeous summer wedding at the Gardens of Woodstock! I’ve seen these two at ALL of my holiday mini sessions and also at so many of their friends weddings who hired me to photograph their own wedding days, and have become some of my biggest cheerleaders over the years! It was during my tree farm mini sessions in 2021 when they shared the biggest surprise that they were expecting their first baby and I broke down in tears! AHHHH I was so happy for them!
Fast forward to June 2022 and I got to meet their sweet little babe, Audrey. My gosh it is such an incredible thing to have known these two through out the last few years and now seeing them as parents! It felt like just yesterday I was in this same living room photographing Chris and his groomsmen on their wedding day!
They have the most beautiful home that is flooded with so much natural light and a very impressive collection of gorgeous house plants sprinkled through out in every nook and cranny! (so dreamy, right?!) I felt very inspired in their living room so we hung out here for the first half of their session and finished off in Audrey’s sweet nursery! I absolutely loved this day, being able to see these two again and capture their little family in their home! Meagan and Chris, you guys hold such a special place in my heart and I’m forever grateful that our paths crossed! Knowing you is such a joy and I’m so incredibly happy for you! Thank you for always being in my corner! Enjoy little miss Audrey’s lifestyle newborn session!
